Wacky Races DVD

Wacky Races on DVD is just that, wacky. The show covers the race between 11 regular competitors as they try to win the award of the wackiest racer of them all. Everyone had a favourite of the contestants, whether it was Dastardly and Muttley, the Ant Hill Mob , Penelope Pitstop or indeed Professor Pat Pending. Each vehicle would have unique skilled drivers or schemes they would employ to help them get ahead and win the race. This led to loads of fun animation in true Hanna Barbera style. Wacky Races was originally run on the CBS network in the USA back in the late 1960's would you believe! The show proved very popular, and was still being shown in the UK throughout the 1980's. This helped to build a loyal cult following for the show and also numerous other spin off characters. The show is still being shown today on various kids networks, and we offer the chance to delve into the wacky world once again with volume one on DVD. The only racer to never win on Wacky Races was the Mean Machine, which was the vehicle driven by Dastardly and Muttley. There were 34 races in all, and each of the 17 epsiodes of Wacky Races that were made featured two separate races. The producers were relatively fair on the other contestants and no other driver won more than four races. You can enjoy the show all over again, it is just a DVD away.
