If there was a contest in the 1980's for the coolest TV star, we reckon that Tom Selleck would have won it hands down. The star of Magnum P I , he plays a private investigator on the sunny island of Hawaii. Driving around in his bosses cool Ferrari, he is a ladies man and often forfeits his fee to help a damsel in distress. This show was incredibly popular in the 1980's and ran for a total of 8 seasons.
